In contrast to the parties wishing to postpone the making of the contract sometimes they wish to get on with things and make the contract later. Although this tends to be an exception rather than a rule it is possible for the parties to carry out certain actions on the basis that they will be regulated by a later contract - the final acceptance will cover these actions.
